Interview With Myself

Q: On a scale of 1 to 10, how tired are you?
A: Definitely a 12. I am still getting the right amount of sleep, but gosh, I am exhausted each night.
Q: How much time do you spend with your family?
A: Maybe 6-10 hours a week. This is the part that makes me the most sad. It is hard to balance time with family vs. being productive. I have really had to focus on my daily goals before I play too much.
Q: How much time do you spend doing school?
A: More than I would like to admit. Between commuting, class, and homework. It is only week three and I kind of want to die. A bright side to this is the fact that all my hard work from the last three years is paying off.
Q: How satisfied are you with life?
A: Extremely. I feel like there isn't a wasted moment. Probably because there aren't many moments with the chance of wasting. I also feel like I can truly appreciate the time I spend with my friends and family.

Payson Temple Trip

I have always wanted to go to the Payson Temple. I have heard so many times that it is a gorgeous. I have to admit, the stain glass is breathtaking.
I have this goal to visit every temple in Utah (currently sitting at 8 including my years doing baptisms). So I am almost half way through!
I texted Melissa this past week saying we should do a temple trip. Next thing I knew, our temple trip for two turned into a temple trip for five. I love going to the temple and I love having my roommates tag along. It brings back so many memories from our freshman year.
**Side note: I applied for graduation today!**

Last First Week of School

It felt so good to finally type that blog title. It is the strangest thought that my college career is coming to an end. Now that I look back on it, I have actually enjoyed going to school, meeting new people, learning new things, and having new experiences. I have grown so much since I moved out three years ago. But I think that is a blog post for another time. This blog post is to recap my week of school.
I need to start out saying that I am taking 19 credits. Why you may ask. I am doing it so I can graduate in May. This number is intimidating. The most credits I have done is 15 while working 30 hours. Now it is 19 credits and working 25 hours. In my mind, that is basically the same thing.
Another thing that is different, I am taking all live classes. I haven't done this since I was a first term sophomore. It is actually kind of weird and I feel like I am missing a class. But all things considered, it should be a good semester.
On Monday I tackled my first night class. It was actually a fun class. Very interactive, which can be a hit or miss with me. We signed up for term projects. I got a project to work the church on an upcoming campaign. I am so excited to see where this leads.
Tuesday was my first 12 hour school day. This was the day I was nervous for. Turns out it is a long day, but a fun and productive day.
Throw in a day a work, a repeat of Tuesday for Thursday, then another work day and you basically get my entire week. Simple, right?
But hey, at least I have this cutie to cheer me on each morning.
Look at those fat rings on his wrists. *heart eyes*

Photo 365

Back in December I decided I wanted to grow my photography talent. I looked up photo projects on Pinterest. I found one that looked hard and rewarding. I wanted to push myself. Of course I could have pick something a little shorter term, but that just isn't me. Go for gold or don't try at all. Ha. Anyways, at the beginning of the year I started the 365 photo challenge.
I am only a week in and I already feel challenged. Which is good :)
If you want to follow along, I am going to be posting weekly on my photo website.

New Year New Adventures

Christmas break is over.
This thought is so bittersweet. I have loved the month off of school. But I am excited to finally finish school!! (Last semester!)
I am excited and nervous for what this year holds.
2017 will be a memorable year because I am anticipating a few life changes.
But for now, I am going to enjoy the last few moments of peace.

Brittani is Married!

Remember the Bridal Shower post?
Well, here is the end result!
Heidi, Brittani, and Melissa
This was my very first sealing. I was nervous and anxious, so I can only imagine what Brittani was feeling. The sealing was beautiful. Brittani was stunning. Everything about this day was perfect.
I even danced at the reception. I would call that a success.

Christmas 2016

I can't believe that Christmas is over.
This Christmas was the best. I loved spending so much time with my family. We did all the traditions and added a few more. I could sit here and type out all the little details, or I can remember those and give you a few highlights in pictures.
