Just Keep Pinning

Lets be honest for a moment.
Pinterest is amazing.
Every girl will agree.
And it is a great way to spend those couple of free minutes. Just scroll and pin.
So in my many adventures of pinning I come across some things I love. And this quotes is one of them. It states it all. This quote is basically the gateway to happiness.

A Love of Mine

I love sunsets.
I personally don't think that is going to change.
But I have to honestly say that Utah County has some beautiful sunsets.

Volleyball

I went to a sporting event.
Impressed?
You should be.
I got a free t-shirt and a coupon for a free meal to Tucanos.
Which happens to be a nice Brazilian restaurant. So basically people are fighting over who is going to go with me.
But now I am wondering why I haven't been going to all the games. Apparently I am lucky!

You'll Never Guess

I went on a date.
My very first blind date.
And I would have to thank my roommate
Brittani.

FHE

For FHE we went to Cornbellies at Thanksgiving point. I hung out with my home girl and roommate Tori. Coming home we took a slight detour to Macy's and got our cheap ice cream. Look at us college students.

Music

There is always a song that can relate to how you feel.
It amazes me every single time.
And just simply finding that one song can change your whole mood. That is the funny thing about music. There is so much out there that you can't even wrap your head around it. It is almost as mind boggling as eternity. You really can't get sick of music. And if you do you are doing it wrong. You can get sick of the noise but not the music.
So what is the top played music in my life right now?
Funny you should ask.
According to my spotify I like EFY 2013.
I love to listen to it while doing homework and for those days that I need a little help to find that little light.
Teen Pop is still secretly a favorite.
Megan & Liz. I just love them.
Alex Goot makes me swoon.
Alex G's voice is just an angel.
Hot Chelle Rae is just fabulous.
I have also been listening to Matt Nathanson.
I honestly can't get enough. His voice melts me.
Have you actually listened to other songs other than "Come And Get Higher"?
And lets not forget the newest music genre added to my listening.
Christmas.
It isn't too early is it? Personally I feel like Halloween has already passed. (But then the thought occurred to me... Christmas music on the radio? Too early..)
But I still want to decorate my apartment and makes cookies. So it can't be that early for the music. Plus what is so wrong with wanting to bring in the Holiday Spirit?

It's Time

One Word:
Registration.
I have to make another schedule.
It is slightly stressful. Piecing all the classes together. And what is funny is I am only doing generals. So I don't even have to worry about a major (well, I worry about a major but not in that fashion). I have a few ideas of what classes to take.
English, Ethics & Values, Health, Photography, Computer Programming, and Accounting. Oh and choir and institute. Also, let the job hunting begin.. again. That is kind of a ongoing cycle.

In Shock

How is it only Wednesday?
And only the 23rd of the month.
I think my calendar broke because that just doesn't seem right.

Relief Society Retreat

My YSA Ward is pretty cool. We do so many activities. Like going to our Bishop's cabin. We ate food, played games, and went four wheeling. It was quite the successful trip.

Family Pictures

My roommates and I did some "Family Pictures" together. It was a fun Sunday activity. We are actually thinking of doing it more often because it was such a fun moment.
*All photos are done by me except my single shots were by Melissa, and the doubles of Melissa and I were done by Brittani*

That moment when...

Our toilet broke.
It was the saddest moment that Melissa and I have encountered together. We came home from our Relief Society Retreat and come home to a toilet that doesn't flush. So what happens when something breaks and there is no boy to fix it? We fix it with ribbon.
Ya, that happened.

October

I am so glad we live in a world where there are Octobers.
I love October and November... (and of course December). I just love the fall months because they are so beautiful. The leaves on the trees is probably my favorite thing to see. Along with the sunrise and sunset of course. What also comes with fall?? Hot Chocolate. My favorite drink ever. It is basically a hug in a cup. My favorite outfits also coordinate the best in the fall season. I love a pretty scarf and cute jacket. I have never really been a girl to care about that but I do feel extra confident when I feel slightly stylish.

A Few Selfies

It is true.
I finally cut my hair.
Well, some of it.
It only took a year and a half.
I now have bangs.

When I Eat I Devour.

Wasn't conference just amazing?
I have never loved or learned so much from conference. Afterwards I was spiritually exhausted and I just wanted to ponder all the revelation I was given.  I can honestly say that this conference was the first conference I didn't accidently fall asleep. I stayed awake for all sessions. It was quite the accomplishment. But because of this I feel even more blessed. I just hope that everyone felt as inspired as I did.

Life is a Stage

Melissa moved her mattress and thus her bed frame became a stage. They were a bit crazy but it was pretty hilarious.

Concert No. 2

Joshua Radin & Matt Nathanson
This was the best concert I have been to. Of course I don't have very many to compare it to. Unless you count choral/orchestra concerts. I liked the intimate setting. There was roughly 250 people crowed into this theater. That may seem like a lot of people but not compared to the 7,000 that were at the Imagine Dragons concert. But this way when the performer would talk to the audience you almost felt like they were talking to you specifically. I also loved how when Joshua Radin was singing a hush literally went over the crowd. Everyone was so focused on the beauty of the music.

The Bus Stop

This is generally what I think about when I am at the bus stop.
Which is quite frequent.

20 Seconds

If you have seen the movie you will understand.
'We Bought a Zoo' has a quote. And it is:
"20 seconds of courage is all it takes for something great to happen."
I had decided that my courage only lasts about 17 seconds. 20 seconds just seemed like too many.
But I finally had my moment of courage. And my heart was pounding. I could hear it in my ears. Now you make ask why I needed my courage. It's a funny story really. There is this cute boy in my institute class. I have nicknamed him Institute Boy because that is what girls do. Code names. Well, I finally got the courage to talk to him.
<insert happy dance here>

Imagine Dragons

Sorry about the quality. It was all I could do with my phone.

This was my first concert.
My first concert was a private concert.
How cool is that?
